These images are all portraits of people with UV paint or makeup on their faces. I think these are very effective because I could relate my work into beauty a little more however this still links into my previous influences of using glow sticks ands torches for light graffiti as I have to shine a UV light on the makeup to make it glow for the photograph. I also think these images would be a good idea of something to photograph during my final exam as this could be quite time consuming however would make a very effective image for a final piece.
This is a very different example of UV paint photography to the other images where the paint has been applied in a particular way. With this the paint has been sponged on and the colours all mix into each other however I think this makes the photo very different yet effective as the whole face is covered so it is therefore very colourful.
This image shows UV flicked on a model, this is a very good image for creative use of light because the paint glows with the light shone onto it, this is also very good because everything except the paint is dark which makes the colour stand out and the contrast looks very good in the image. I also like the composition of this as the model is sat slightly sideways and she has her eyes shut meaning her eyes are dark whereas if she had her eyes open then you would see the whites of her eyes and I don't think the image would have the same effect.
