Work Diary

During todays shoot I have focused on sparklers to create light graffiti. This was quite a successful shoot in the end however it took some time to figure out a good shutter speed as my first few attempts were either too quick or too slow and I feel that it took me too long to find a good duration. However once I had sorted this, I produced some good images. It was useful that I had a range of people who were willing to help me at the time as it meant that I had some images where there were more than just one sparkler and they were also at a variety of heights. If I was to do this shoot again I would make sure I had brought more sparklers as I ran out which meant that I could not take ay further images.

This is one of my images of sparklers to create light graffiti, I felt that this was a very good image because I left the shutter speed very slowed down which meant that I was able to capture all of the light from this image and think this has only worked so well because the sparkler was moved a lot rather than just staying in a smiler place, this has meant that almost the whole composition is full and once this is edited I think it could be a very good image. 

This is another of my images, I also think this one has came out quite well because it is very unusual due to you not being able to see the person in the image. I also think the shape which has been traced is very unusual and this could be a very good image once I have edited it. I need make this image much darker due to being able to see the background very clearly and the objective of this photo is for only the sparkler to be visible.
